Comfort Cross

Do you need something to help fight the worry in your life, try a comfort cross!

For some time, I have posted on my social networking about how Matthew 6: 33-34 has gotten me through 30 years of being self-employed.  When you get so caught up in worry, you can't focus on what you need to be doing - be it work, or family.

I often listen to sermons from North Rock Hill Church in Rock Hill, SC, and the Mike Rowe podcast.

The sermons include a lot of focus on Discipleship and what are you doing with your platform.  On the Mike Rowe podcast, he interviews incredible people who have used their platform to create goodness in the World.

For quite awhile, I've been thinking what can I do to help others with the small platform I have on Social Networking.  For years, my wife has given Comfort Crosses to folks who are in times of worry in their lives.  With all the scrap wood I have in my shop from making cabinets and tables, plus all the old fly line I have saved for some reason, it make sense that I should make these and give them to others.

The Comfort Cross is something you can keep in your desk at work, in your pocket - wherever you want!  It is something tangible that can grab, and know that things will be just fine - take care of today and be where you're at - tomorrow will take care of itself.

If you would like a Comfort Cross, I will send one to you Free!  Just email me at mark@creeknuts.com with your name and address, and I will get one out to you within a couple weeks.
